About the Role
This opportunity is ideal for graduates who want to begin a career in Audit, Assurance, and Financial Reporting within a professional practice environment. As a Graduate Audit Associate, you will be working with audit seniors and managers on live client engagements, reviewing financial statements, testing controls, analysing transactional data, and contributing directly to statutory audit delivery.

You will gain exposure to clients across multiple industries including finance, technology, manufacturing, property, retail and professional services. Successful candidates will follow a structured training pathway with support toward their professional development, alongside hands-on audit experience from day one.

This role forms the foundation for long-term progression into Senior Auditor, Audit Manager, or Finance Business Partner roles.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning, executing and completing external audits for clients
• Perform financial testing, sample selection, and documentation of working papers
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS
• Analyse client accounting records for accuracy, completeness and risk
• Perform controls testing and assist with walkthroughs of financial processes
• Work alongside seniors to prepare audit files for partner review
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding information requests
• Ensure all work aligns with professional auditing standards and deadlines

Ideal Candidate
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related discipline (other strong analytical degrees considered)
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication skills, confident speaking with clients and teams
• Comfortable working with Excel and financial data sets
• Highly organised with the ability to manage workload during busy periods
• Motivated to pursue a career in Audit
• Must be meeting CPD requirements and demonstrate knowledge of AML procedures within financial reporting environments
